Brenda Carol Bloodworth

Brenda was born on November 20, 1950. She graduated from Jordon Vocational High School and retired as a Receptionist for Phenix Finance.

Brenda is preceded in death by her parents, Ellie Mae Sterling and Lewis Mazel Starling, her brother's, Danny Starling, Stevie Starling, and Edward Starling.

She is survived by her husband, Wayne Bloodworth; daughter, Marcia Bloodworth Catrett (Scott); grandchildren, Jamie-leigh Reddish (Kyle) and Bailey Catrett (Blake); great grandchildren, Wyatt Catrett, Maverick Reddish, Mason Reddish, McKinleigh Catrett; and one on the way.

Brenda loved deeply. She was always smiling and laughing, and she never met a stranger. She liked to arrange flowers for her loved one's graves. She was always trying new hobbies such as sewing and playing volleyball, and she was always outside.

Brenda was Baptist in faith and attended Kirkland Memorial Baptist for 20 plus years.

Visitation will be held at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, GA 31907, on March 9, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm. A Funeral Service will follow at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary on March 9, 2026, at 3:00 pm. A Committal Service will take place at Parkhill Cemetery, 4161 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907, on March 9, 2026.
