She attended Pirmasens University and obtained an associates degree. Brigitte married Charles Looney and together, they had a beautiful partnership of 62 years and raised four lovely children. She spent her time as a homemaker and was a dedicated Catholic. There was nothing she loved more than her family, enjoyed reading, being involved with politics, classical music, and animals.
Brigitte is preceded in death by her parents and her youngest son, Marty Looney.
She is survived by her husband Charles Looney, their three children--Jay Looney, Mike Looney, and Susan Shelton, fourteen grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren
A Graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday February 22, 2025 at Parkhill Cemetery, 4161 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907.
