Brittney Nichole Folds, age 32, of Hamilton, Georgia passed away on Tuesday March 3, 2020. A visitation for family and friends of Brittney will be held Sunday, March 8, 2020 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, Georgia 31907. Graveside services will be held Monday, March 9, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Parkhill Cemetery, 4161 Macon Rd, Columbus, Georgia.
Brittney was born June 23, 1987 in Columbus, Georgia, the daughter of Patricia Snider Folds and Phillip Folds. Brittney graduated from Harris County High School; she then attended and graduated from Columbus State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Elementary Education. She taught in both the Harris County School District and the Muscogee County School District. Brittney had a passion for teaching, she loved her students and the faculty members that became her friends. Her family meant the world to her, however her greatest joy was becoming a mother to her son Lucas whom she loved more than words can describe.
Brittney was preceded in death by her grandfather, Buck Snider; grandmother, Carolyn Snider; grandmother, Blanche Duke; grandfather, Harold Folds; and cousin, Randy Snider.
Brittney is survived by her son, Lucas Moeder; father, Phillip Folds; and mother, Patricia Folds; brothers Chris Folds and Tristan Folds; her former spouse, Jerry Moeder; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and family friends that will cherish her memory.
