Bruce was born October 3, 1976 in Decatur, Georgia to Mary Jordan Pierce and Bruce Leroy Pierce, Sr. Bruce graduated from High School in Fort Stewart, Georgia. He was employed by E.R. Snell in Snellville, GA as a Heavy Equipment Operator. Bruce was a fast learner and hard worker. He loved his family and especially his son Ayden. He enjoyed fishing and riding in his Jeep. Bruce was a jokester and was always smiling and making people laugh. He was very creative and had a natural talent for drawing and creating crafts. He would like to be remembered as always having a good time and having a huge heart.
Bruce’s father Bruce Leroy Pierce, Sr.; and brother Keith Pierce preceded him in death. He is survived by his mother Mary Grant (Ray); fiancé Michelle Koch; son Ayden Andrew Pierce; grandmother Iris Jordan Pierce (Jim); cousins James Jordan (Lacoe), Annaleigh and Jameson Jordan, Nicole Hobbs (Joe) and Houston Mitchem; uncle Jim Jordan (Lyndie); and all his loving extended family.
Special thanks go to his caregivers in the long term care unit at Muscogee Manor Nursing Home for taking such good care of him for 2 ½ years. Also thanks to the staff at Columbus Hospice.
