Celeste Barton Jones

A graveside service will be held at 11AM Wednesday, 12, 2022 in Parkhill Cemetery with Chaplain Tim Barid and Reverend James Barid officiating.

Celeste was born march 4, 1932 in Dyersburg, TN, daughter of the late Samuel Wes Barton and Lois Louise McKee.

In addition to her parents, three sisters, Dorothy Parish, Margaret Baird, and Francis Coggins preceded Celeste in death.

Celeste enjoyed sports, especially watching Alabama football and the Atlanta Braves. She loved her family very dearly and spent a lot of time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Celeste is survived by her husband of 62 years, Cecil Jones; two children, Audie Jones, and Audrey McVay; six grandchildren, Brandon Jones, Austin Jones, Baileigh Jones, Bryce Holt (Taylor), Peyton McVay, and London McVay; three great grandchildren, Kamdon Jones, Brylee Holt, and Renly Holt.
