He was born on November 17, 1931, in Cincinnati, Ohio. After graduating from college, he joined the military and served as a nurse and later an operating room supervisor, first in the Air Force and then in the Army. After completing basic training, he served in Vietnam and later was stationed in Hertfordshire, England. He attained the rank of Captain and received an honorable discharge from the army in March 1975.
After his military service he went to work for Aflac Insurance Co until his retirement in 1996.
He is survived by his wife Jane Ham Bradford, sons Nick Bradford and life partner Lecia Duke, Martin Banyard & wife Rebecca Bolton, stepdaughters Phyllis Teel, Key Reel & spouse Will Reel and many grandchildren & great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father Charles N Bradford, mother Sarah Sunset Polk, first wife Evelyn Bradford, daughter Elizabeth Sunny Bradford, son Ronnie Keith Bradford and grandson Nico Bradford.
