Charles "Chuck" Clifton Wike

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Edgewood Presbyterian Church, 3617 Macon Road, Columbus, GA 31907 with burial to follow in Parkhill Cemetery according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, GA 31907. Reverend Paul Coats and Dr. Jimmy Elder will officiate. The family will receive friends at the residence of Richard and Kay Saunders, 9324 Comanche Road, Columbus, GA 31904 following the funeral services.

Active pallbearers will be John Bogie, Edward Gilmore, Ben Ramsey, Fred Holt, Bill Massey and Bill McLaughlin.

Mr. Wike was born May 24, 1957 in Americus, GA son of Charles O. Wike of Columbus and the late Katharine Ward Wike. Chuck enjoyed volunteering at various places in Columbus and most recently was very active with the GR8 SK8 center in Phenix City, Alabama. He was Presbyterian by faith.

Survivors include his father, Charles O. Wike of Columbus, 2 sisters, Evelyn Wike (Jacob) Riley of Athens, GA and Kay Wike (Richard) Saunders of Columbus, nieces and nephews, John Mitchell Bain, Elizabeth Bain Denney, Richard Vaden Saunders, Jr. and Charles Garris Saunders, 2 great nieces, Katharine Marley Bain and Cora Parker Denney.
