Charlie Myron Brown

Charlie Myron Brown, age 59, of Columbus, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2023. A memorial service for Charlie will be held Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Orison Worship, 1043 Vineville St., Columbus, Georgia.

Charlie graduated from Columbus Christian Academy in 1982. Charlie married Donna Jean Brown on December 8, 2007 in Phenix City, AL by Rev. Virgil L. Colbert. For many years, Charlie was an over the road truck driver and eventually began his own landscaping business in 2015, known as Lawns and Mower. Charlie enjoyed working, cooking and playing guitar. He loved Jesus, his wife Donna, and “his kids” his goddaughters and the children from church that he always looked forward to seeing. Charlie was a selfless man, willing to do for others, and one who loved without judgement.

Charlie is preceded in death by: his adopted father and mother Lawrence and Mary Brown; and his birth mother, Marie Brown Boots.

Survivors include: his wife, Donna Brown; step-son, Adam Mickiewicz of Spring City, PA, brothers, Leon Boots of Waymart, PA, Russell and Fran Boots (Alex & Becca) Waymart, PA, Timothy and Jeannie Boots Bradley, Ethan, and Danny of Waymart, PA Bobby and Donna Boots (Brennan, Maressa, Caroline, and Teddy) of Honesdale, PA, Steve Boots (Sam and Andrew) of Honesdale PA; sister, Jennie Boots-Johannes (Billy and Ashley) of Carbondale, PA; cousins, Deborah Jefcoat Nolan of Smith Station, AL; goddaughters: Spring Rose Powell, Summer Willow Powell of Columbus, GA, Emily Foxworth of Columbus, GA and many other family members and dear friends that will cherish Charlie’s memory.
