Charlotte Moore Posey, age 71, resident of Columbus, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2015. A memorial service is scheduled on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at 2:00pm in Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby, 4071 Macon Road Columbus, Georgia. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 1:00pm.
Mrs. Posey, daughter of the late Fred Moore and Sara Lightner Moore, was born April 14, 1944 in New Brockton, Alabama.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gene Posey; step-children, Charles Posey and Greg Posey.
Mrs. Posey is survived by her son, John Garcia (Michelle); sister, Julie Spears; brothers, Terry Moore, Rick Moore (Mary Anne), Tim Moore; step-son, Allen Posey; grandchildren, Jared Garcia, Trey Garcia; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
