Cheryl Sorrells

Cheryl was an avid gardener and artist. Her love for painting spanned much of her life and had a green thumb, which could grow almost anything. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, and daughter, who was dedicated to her family.

Survivors include her husband, David Sorrells; her children, Brian Sorrells, Cindy (Stan) Smith and Todd (Tammy) Sorrells; her mother, Dorothy (Messer) Meadows; her sister, Deborah Hindsman; her grandchildren, Benjamin, Blake (Casie), Cortney, Colton (Makayla), Kenzlie, Railey (Josh), Jeremy, Shane (Megan); and many great-grandchildren, niece, nephew and cousins. Cheryl was preceded in death by her father, Murray Meadows and her grandson, Chase Pulsifer.

A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, St. Elmo, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, GA 31907 on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at 2:00PM (EST). Rev. Dr. Buddy Cooper will be officiating service.
