Christine M. Hood

Christine M. Hood, age 99, of Folkston, Georgia, formerly of Columbus, GA, passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2023. A Visitation will be held from at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 from 1:00 pm until 1:45 pm; a Graveside Service will follow at 2:00 pm at Parkhill Cemetery, 4161 Macon Rd., Columbus, GA.

She attended Grace Baptist Church for many many years and was a member in the Golden Circle Sunday School Class.

Christine is preceded in death by her husband, Clinton S. Hood; her sons, Ronnie Chandler, Jerry Lane Chandler, Billy Zane Chandler.

Survived by her sister, Jearldean Miers; 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
