Christopher Michael Norris, 30, of Columbus, GA died Monday, March 14, 2016 in Cataula, GA. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, March 18, 2016 2:00 PM at Beallwood Baptist Church with Pastor Tommy Hart officiating. The family will visit with friends after the service.
Chris, son of the late Natalie Ford Norris and Charles Edward Norris, Sr., was born December 16, 1985 in Columbus, GA. He was a member of The Church in the County where he also taught Sunday School. Chris had a true zest for life. He enjoyed everything outdoors including rafting, fishing, hunting, zip lining and gardening. Chris was energetic, an avid hacky sacker and loved Alabama football. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Chris is survived by his father Charles Norris, Sr. of Columbus, GA; sisters Audrey Norris of Columbus, GA., Terri Norris of Columbus, GA and Kathy Norris of Phenix City, AL; brothers Terry Norris (Holly) of Cairo, GA and Charlie Norris, Jr. (Cathy) of Phenix City, AL; girlfriend Sarah Taylor of Hamilton, GA; numerous other family members and friends.
