A graveside service with military honors will be held on Monday, August 22, 2022 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Bud Rupel and Pastor Paul Thomas officiating.
Mr. Pritchett was born on May 18, 1931 in Clay County, Alabama. He faithfully served his country in the United States Army for 21 years. Mr. Pritchett served in the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He was decorated with a Purple Heart with Oak Leaf Cluster, Bronze Star medal, and Two Overseas Service Bars to name a few of his decorations and medals. Mr. Pritchett also served as a Chaplin in the Army. His love of music was his second passion after his love of service for his country. Mr. Pritchett was known as “Lefty” because of his music ability to play guitar with his left hand. He was married to the late Bonnie Sue Pritchett. In their golden years they enjoyed walking in the mall together.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Sue Pritchett, parents Audra Mae and Claudus Pritchett; and five siblings. Survivors include his children: Debra (Paul) Beyer, Allen (Amanda) Pritchett, and Cameron (Barb) Michels; his sister, Lois Frazier; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and a host of other family members.
