Clotilde Amelia Hernandez

Clotilde Amelia Hernandez, 87, of Columbus, Georgia passed away on November 3, 2021. She was born in Puerto Rico on August 26, 1934. Clotilde was married to Jose Hernandez, his military career brought the family to the Columbus area. Clotilde was a homemaker, military wife and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved her family and cherished them dearly.

Clotilde is survived by her children: Clotilde “Claudia” Bonner, Janet Woods, Joseph Hernandez, and Vivian DuPriest; and a host of other extended family and friends. She has 9 grandchildren, Joshua and Matthew Bonner, Michelle and Amanda Campos , Alexandria and Joseph (Elijah) DuPriest, Joseph (Joey ) Hernandez, Jamie Hernandez.. Jessica Campos (deceased) and 13 great grandchildren, Zachary Bradley, Emma Hyatt, Jayden and Skylin Brians , Rhaya Davis: Heidi , Penelope , Haven, and Nyomi Jackson , Braxton Hernandez, Brooklyn Wilkerson, Dylan and Jolene Bonner; and a host of other extended family and friends.

A memorial service to celebrate Clotilde’s life will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 11AM in the Edgewood Hall Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary.
