The endearing Courtney L. Sayler, 61, of Fortson, Georgia, born August 9th, 1963 in Columbus, Georgia passed away early Thursday morning on August 29th, 2024. This was a shock to all who loved her, because this was a rare occurrence of her being ahead of schedule. All those that knew her routine could say she loved to dress to impress, even if it ended with running a little behind.
She was the daughter of the late Kathryn Gallagher and Richard Lloyd- and her memories live on through her loving husband, Sidney Sayler; daughter, Deanna Miller; Son-in-law, Chandler Miller; grandson, Leiland Miller; and brother, David Lloyd.
Courtney began her career as a dental hygienist in the 80s. She enjoyed her days teaching aerobics and taking care of her health by going to the gym. Once she married and was pregnant, she decided to take the role of a stay at home mother. Her favorite things were going to the beach, shopping, and spending time with loved ones, watching movies. She always looked forward to getting her hair done.
No amount of time with the astonishing Courtney would have ever been enough for her family and friends, though she gave us enough love and memories to last several lifetimes. Oh, how we loved her.
A Visitation for Family and Friends of Courtney will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, Georgia 31907, followed by a Memorial Service at 3:00 PM.
