Visitation will be 12:00 noon on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 in the Mill Room of Striffler-Hamby, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, GA.
Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm, on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 in the Mill Room, with Reverend Jeremy Shepard officiating. Interment will follow in Parkhill Cemetery.
Curtis M. Hinton, Jr., "Butch" was born June 5, 1947 in Columbus, Georgia to the late Curtis M. Hinton, Sr. and Frances Virginia Green Hinton. He served his country in the United States Army with the Special Forces from 1967-1971 and was a member of The Bridge Church of Cusseta, Alabama.
He was preceded in death by his son Curtis Michael Hinton. Survivors include his daughter; Michelle, husband William Hartin Jr. and grandson Andy Allen Hartin; son Troy Hinton; sisters and brothers-in-laws; Cindy and Gaylan Hamilton; Candy and Willard Woolfolk; and Wendy and Jeff Houston, and a brother; Robert Hinton and partner Douglas M. Turner.
