Cynthia Riley Slater, 64 of Phenix City, AL, passed away Thursday, May 1, 2025. Cynthia was born December 5, 1960, in Germany, daughter of the late Charles H. and Sara Frances Mobley Riley. She served as an Insurance Specialist for Southeast Regional Pain Center.
Cynthia loved her family. She truly enjoyed spending time with them and creating everlasting memories. Whether it be on Holidays, family functions or impromptu game nights her love for family was always shown. Cynthia was also known for her willingness to help anyone in need. This love was shown in various ways including a listening ear, groceries, clothes, money and mostly time. Cynthia was also very fond of her two golden fur babies, Bailey and Finley.
Survivors include her loving husband of 45 years, Keith C. Slater, her son, Chad Slater and his wife, Amber, her siblings, Chuck Riley and his wife, Kathy, Tina Nelson and her husband, David, and Paula Powell, her nieces and nephews, Micah Riley, Spencer Riley, Chase Silva, Ty Nelson and Blake Powell, and many friends.
A visitation to celebrate Cynthia’s life will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Columbus, GA.
