I just learned of David's passing last night from an e-mail from the Bob Barr Community Band.  I played drums in the band with David his last year there.  I enjoyed his humor and we became friends.  David introduced Dixie and I to Diet Limeade at the Sonic after band practice.  
I will miss the breakfast at Cracker Barrel with he and Joel Jackson.

David will be missed.

I just learned of David's passing today.  I was out of town from July 31 until August 5.  David was one of the first people I met, when I was hired at Hardaway as a science teacher back in 1986. I retired in 2009.  David's sense of humor was always appreciated, as well as the advice he had for a "new" young teacher. I thoroughly enjoyed working with him until he retired, and it was great to see him again at Bobby Tefft's retirement dinner a few years ago.  I have many fond memories of David over the years!  I think my favorite one is when I finally convinced him to be part of the HHS "Washboard Band".  David came out for the faculty performance in the biggest cowboy hat I had ever seen!  We had many fun times and he helped make the science department seem like "family".  David will be missed by all of those that had the pleasure to know him.

So sorry to hear about Mr. Donaldson's passing. He had a special influence on the students and staff at Hardaway High School. He will be missed.

I am so sorry to read about Mr. Donalson. I was in his science class at Hardaway.  He was one of the few teachers that I remember.  His class was fun and he was an excellent teacher.  There should be more teachers like him.

Doyle and I were very sorry to hear about David. He was our neighbor, fellow educator, and fellow church member for many years. We will be praying for your family.

David was a very good friend of mine in high school. He was a kind and caring person.  I missed seeing him at our 50th reunion, but was happy to have seen him at our 45th.  I just noticed that he and I were born on the same day--as was another classmate, Eloise Jones.  How about that!  My thoughts and prayers are with David's family and friends.

I graduated high school with David in Colquitt and have fond memories.  He taught both my sons at Hardaway.  They both admired him.  My prayers and thoughts are with all the family.  He was a fine gentlemen.

I am sorry to hear of David's passing.  My first year at Hardaway was David's last year before retiring.  There are only three of us "old-timers" left in the science department that taught with David:  myself, Victoria French and Martin Wilson.  We still remember David fondly. Our thoughts are with you and your family at this time.
