Deborah "Debbie" Kaye (Pickett) Ehrhart, 60, of Columbus, Georgia passed away on Monday July 23, 2018. Debbie was born June 4, 1958 in Jacksonville, Florida to Charles Eugene and Faye Pickett. In her early years she was an excellent softball player and loved sports all her life. She enjoyed playing with her grandchildren who always made her laugh. Debbie was a protector, and care giver, even after death, as an organ donor. She loved all her family and the animals in her care. She taught her sons to be respectful, loyal, and passionate in all they did. She was very proud of them.
Deborah is survived by her spouse, Sharyn Franke; sons, Matthew (Amy) Ehrhart and Christopher (Cherish) Ehrhart; parents, Charles Eugene Pickett, Sr. and Faye Pickett; sisters, Donna Pickett (David) Tice and Alice Pickett; brother, Charles (Chuk) Pickett; grandchildren, Elliot, Grayson, Ruby, Max and Luna Ehrhart; nieces, nephews, other family members, and many friends and fur babies.
The family will welcome guests for visitation Wednesday, July 25, 2018, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 p.m., in The Mill Room of Striffler-Hamby, 4071 Macon Rd. Columbus, GA. A Celebration of Deborah’s Life will be Thursday, July 26, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., in The Mill Room, followed by a private committal service at Parkhill Cemetery with Reverend Tim Jones officiating.
