Deborah Kay Kibby, age 61, resident of Fortson, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services are scheduled in Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby, 4071 Macon Road Columbus, on Saturday, October 3, 2015 with Pastor Brad Parker officiating. Burial will follow at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Striffler-Hamby on Friday, October 2, 2015 from 5:00-7:00pm.
Mrs. Kibby, daughter of the late Jack D. and Edith Lee, was born November 26, 1953 in Birmingham, Alabama. She and her husband attended Hunter Road Baptist Church of Fortson, Georgia.
Mrs. Kibby was preceded in death by parents; and sister, Jackie Smith. She is survived by her husband of 20 years of marriage, William “Bill” Kibby; sons, Brandon Bryant (Rhonda), Clayton Bryant (Wendy); step-sons, Bill Kibby, Jim Kibby; eight grandchildren; brothers, Eddie Lee (Sue), Dwight Lee (Sheila); numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
