Diana Mulkey Baker

Diana was a graduate of Greenfield Academy and Columbus Technical College. She dedicated 26 years of her professional life to Trackmobile Incorporated in LaGrange, Georgia, where she served as Head of Production Control.

Beginning in 1980, 1981 then again in 1987 Diana lovingly embraced the role of motherhood, a role that remained one of the greatest and most meaningful parts of her life. She was a woman of quiet strength, unwavering loyalty, and a love that ran deep. Those closest to Diana knew that she did not always need many words to express how much she cared. Her presence, devotion, and steadfast love spoke for themselves.

Diana was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Baker; her parents, Homer Moses Mulkey and Lilla Kate Mulkey; and her brother, Homer Dwayne Mulkey.

She is survived by her three children, Dallas Baker, Tabitha Lupo, and Donnie Lupo; her granddaughter Zoë Samples; her sister, Janice Mulkey Emmerich; and many nieces and nephews who will carry her memory in their hearts.

Diana had a special love for animals, especially her beloved dogs, Beau, Bandit, and Leo. They were cherished companions in her life and are grieving her alongside the family.

Diana’s life was defined not by grand gestures, but by the quiet and lasting ways she loved the people and animals around her. Her loyalty, strength, compassion, and devotion will remain a part of those fortunate enough to have known her.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Columbus Hospice in Diana’s name.
