Diane Marie Canady, 82, passed away on June 24, 2026. Born August 17, 1943, Diane will be remembered with deep respect and enduring affection by all who knew and loved her. She loved God and cherished her family, and those closest to her felt that devotion in the steady, gracious way she lived.
Diane was a talented musician with a beautiful singing voice and a gift for playing the piano and organ. She carried herself with a refined sense of style, reflected not only in her manner of dress but also in the warmth and elegance of her home. Time with family was among her greatest joys—whether spent shopping together, sharing fine dining, or simply gathering around a table to enjoy a meal and one another’s company.
She also had a special touch when it came to hair styling, generously sharing her skill with those she loved. She would fashion her mother’s French twist updo and fix her niece’s hair in the look of Little Miss Sunbeam—small acts of care that spoke to her attentiveness and the pride she took in helping others feel their best.
Diane loved being out on the water and boating with her family, embracing those moments with an easy joy and a bright spirit. Ahead of her time as a successful businesswoman, she met life with determination and poise, balanced by a tender heart and a consistently positive outlook. Her lilting laugh was contagious, and her presence brought light to the lives around her. Diane will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Bessie and Otto Bonner, brother Curtis Bonner, and grandparents Angie Savage Lynch and Joseph Lynch.
Diane is survived by her daughter, Robyn Moody, Robyn's father, John Canady, nephew, Drew Bonner, niece, Lynn Bonner Ball Jackson (Jerry), Lynn's children, Alexander Ball (Mary Tempesta Ball), Jessica Ball (Chris Seeley) and their children Weston and Camden Seeley, and Victoria Ball Barnes (Mason) and their son Hudson Barnes.
