Dianna was the youngest of 3 children. She was raised in Germany until 6th grade when the family moved back to the United States. After graduating from Shaw High School, she worked for, and then managed, Dunkin Donuts. She started working for Aflac in 1992, where she continued to work for the next 33 years until her passing. She worshipped God faithfully and loved going to Church. She was a devote Catholic and was very involved in the Church her entire life alongside her parents.
Dianna spent her life taking care of everyone she loved. She helped raise her niece and nephew, took care of her brother when he was sick, and did anything and everything to help her beloved parents and her 3 great nieces. She had two fur babies, Calli, the chihuahua, and Lola, the chiweenie. Dianna never met a stranger and always lit up the room with her kind soul and inspirational spirit. She found joy in watching wrestling, traveling, concerts, tweety bird, and anything to do with the Tennessee Volunteers. Her love for music and concerts allowed her to meet so many amazing friends, who quickly became family.
"Mushie" was a nickname given to Dianna as a child and it means “beautiful flower” and a beautiful, unique flower is exactly what she was. She showed everyone around her what it feels like to be loved, appreciated, safe, comforted and truly blessed. Her kind soul shined through to every person she met. She made sure to instill her morals and values onto her loved ones. She taught us all to have a pure heart and positive attitude. Dianna was the epitome of inspirational. Thousands of people have been touched by her breast cancer journey. She fought so hard, and in the end, she won. She has always been an angel, and our family finds comfort and peace in knowing, it was time for her to gain her eternal wings in the arms of Jesus. She no longer feels anything Earthly pain and will be with all of us forever. She will forever be remembered as the heart, soul and glue of the family, just like her beautiful momma.
