Columbus, GA- Dolpha Juel "Dusty" Minton, 87, of Columbus, GA., died September 24, 2012.
Funeral services for Mrs. Minton will be held on Sat. at 11:30 September 29th, 2012 in the chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary 4071 Macon Road Columbus. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation for Mrs. Minton will be from 5-7pm, on Friday September 28th, 2012 at the funeral home.
Dolpha Juel Imus Minton was born April 2, 1925 in Horsebranch Kentucky to the late Ernest and Mamie Hardy Imus, also of Horsebranch. In addition to her parents Mrs. Minton was preceded in death by her husband, Russell "Rusty" E. Minton, her brother Elmer "Tippy" Imus, her sister Peggy Lu Imus Whitely.
Survivors include two daughters; Sherron Kay "Shere" Minton Johnson, and Tammie Juel Minton , two granddaughters; Harmony Juel Brown Smith, and Michele Leigh Brown Jones, 3 great grandchildren; Brooklyn Juel Smith, Jordan Michael Wood and Izabella Mae Jones
