Andrew College has lost one of the greatest Trustees of all times!  Mrs. Turner I finally met you for the first time when you attended the Andrew College Board of Trustees/Faculty/Staff Fall picnic on October 2nd of this year (I'm Dr. David Seyle's assistant).  It was such a pleasure meeting you.  Then Abbott brought Mr. Bill, Abb & Kayla back to campus on October 16th to visit with our AndrewServes Servant Leadership Scholars.  What a pleasure to finally meet Abb & Kayla.  That was the last time I would see Mr. Abbott standing in my office doorway (teasing with me as usual)!  My heart breaks for the whole entire Turner family, and I just want you to know how much the Andrew College family loves you all!  You are in our thoughts and prayers daily.

I met Abbott through a group that plays golf in Myrtle Beach each year. Of all of his achievements---he was most proud of his  Wife and Family. He was a fine man and a good friend.

What can one truly say to comfort the family of a loved-one that has passed on. At a time such as this we must place all our Hope in God, our Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus. To the family, may God's peace shower you, may he hover over you as Hen over her chic's and bring you all comfort and understanding. We have the hope and assurance from our Brother ,the Apostle Paul as he wrote to the Christians of the church in Thessalonica that we as God's children, the Born Again Believers, at the sound of the Trump of God will be raised to be with Christ Jesus forever. Thessalonians 4:13-18,     Our Brother John, the Apostle declared that we are God's children and when Jesus returns we will be like Him.
