Dorothy Goss

Family will visit with friends on Friday, January 3, 2020 from 1:30 PM until 2:30 PM at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary 4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, Georgia. A graveside will follow visitation in Parkhill Cemetery at 3:00 PM.

Dorothy Griffin Goss was born on March 5, 1930 in Columbus, Georgia to the late Mary V. Purvis Griffin and Tice Singer Britt Griffin. She was a lifelong resident of Columbus and was married to the late Calvin F. Goss. Mrs. Goss was an artist in many different fields to include crochet, painting and dance to name a few. Mrs. Goss loved spending time with her family; she will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her husband and parents; her daughter, Cynthia L. Grossman; her sisters, Earlene Flanagan and Mary Nell Holmes.

She leaves her loving memory to be cherished by her daughters: Cathy J. Nail and Caron D. McNeil; her eight grandchildren; her nine great grandchildren; her two great great-grandchildren; her brother, Tice Griffin Jr.; nephews: Rickey D. Blair and Bruce J. Holmes; niece Patricia Littrell and many other relatives.
