

Earl Thomas "Tom" Craft, age 53, passed away on April 16, 2012. Graveside services will be held in Parkhill Cemetery on Thursday, April 19, 2012 at 3:00 PM with Dr. Jerry Horner officiating, according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Rd., Columbus, GA.
Mr. Craft was born on September 13, 1958 to Reba Sue Craft and the late Edgar Talmadge Craft in Camp Zama, Japan. He graduated from Columbus High School with a National Merit scholarship, going on to attain his Bachelor's Degree from Columbus College. Tom was employed by many of the local textile mills, but he last worked with Johnson Textile Mill in Phenix City as an I.E. Clerk. His greatest love was all of his nieces and nephews and their children. The last few years, Tom helped take care of his mother.
Survivors include his mother, Reba Craft of Columbus; three brothers, James Craft (Pat) of Columbus, Donald Craft (Kay) of Columbus and Robert Craft (Debbie) of Moultrie, GA; a sister, Cheryl Ward of Columbus and several nieces and nephews.
