Earl Steve Dugard Sr.

Earl Steve Dugard,Sr. age 65, resident of Columbus, died on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at his residence. Graveside services are scheduled at Parkhill Cemetery, 4161 Macon Road, Columbus on Monday, July 1, 2013, 11 a.m. with Bobby Streetman officiating according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus. As a tribute to Mr. Dugard, you are asked to where camouflage attire to the service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, June 30, 2013 from 3-5 p.m. Mr. Dugard, son of the late George Alvie Dugard and Ruth Inella Snell Dugard, was born December 1, 1947 in Columbus. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict. Mr. Dugard was a member of the Tri County Hunting Club, Valley Dove Hunting Club, Standing Boy Hunting Club, and Columbus/Fort Benning RC Flyers. He was preceded in death by a sister, Alvie June Shelton and a brother, Rayburn Charles Dugard. Mr. Dugard is survived by his wife, Jennifer Dugard of Columbus; two sons, Steve Dugard, Jr. of Geneva, Georgia; Charles Dugard and his wife Brandy of Smiths Station, Alabama; one brother, Jerry Dugard and his wife Brenda of Columbus; two grandchildren, Ashley Dugard and Kristen Dugard; one step-granddaughter, Brittany Wilcox; other relatives and friends.
