Earl Lamar Timmons, 51, passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at his home in Waverly Hall, GA, surrounded by his family. He was born on January 13, 1972 in Columbus, GA and lived in the surrounding area all of his life.
Lamar enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, and talking on his CB radio. He was a proud Paw Paw who adored his grandchildren and cherished the time he spent spoiling and playing with them. He worked hard and played hard, and you had better watch out when you were around him, for he was known to be a prankster. Lamar was a devoted Georgia Bulldogs fan and loved spending time with his family and friends. His infectious laughter and good advice will be missed.
Survivors include his wife, Tammy (Smith) Timmons, his children, Matthew Dunn, Hayley Timmons Stafford, Austin Timmons, Justin Timmons, Raven Timmons, Jacob Timmons, and Corey Timmons; his step-daughter, Desiree McAfee; his mother, Sharon (Sizemore) Timmons Brown, his sister, Tina Timmons Chapman; his brothers, Joseph Timmons and Dean Timmons; and his 14 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Lamar was preceded in death by his father, Robert Earl Timmons.
