I did ot know of Ed's passing and I am sorry to hear of it-have known him for a number of years, thru amateur radio(which I am not very active in any more, etc.) My sincere sympathy to his family

Mr. Barnes was a thoughtful, generous man who loved God, his sweet wife, and truly cared for others.  His example  left an indelible impression that will long be remembered.

Ed, you will be missed terribly! My Deepest Sympathay to all of the family; may God comfort you like no one else can at a time like this. To have known you for the many years I did, and to have learned as much from you as I possibly could, You made a Very Positive Influence On ME. I suppose our next QSO will be in Heaven, as I am a Christian, Too.

He truly captured my heart with his great personality and his devotion to his Lord, his wife, and his family.  I love you all and I will continue to pray for God's comfort for your hearts. am so sorry to hear abount mr. ed. he always talked to me alot abount radio when i would go to his house a lot of times. he help me study to get my ham ticket.am going to miss him alot god bless wesley k4wws.
