Thank you to the man who was a lifelong friend to my father. I grew up seeing the wonderful example of their relationship that lasted over 70 years. Mr. Ed will be greatly missed. He was one of the few men I have known that I would consider to be a true Southern gentleman. My prayers go out to all those who loved him.

I regret that I have been out of town and missed the visitation and service of my friend Ed Pritchett. I met him a few years ago through Brother Tom Pair and we became instant friends. The world has lost a good friend. I thank God that he allow Ed Pritchett to be part of our live. Scotty

So sorry to hear of the passing of "Uncle Ed". Ed has been so special to me since I first sang with his Southern Gospel Quartet, Jordan River Qt. back in 1987-1995. I know Heaven's Choir is much fuller since Uncle Ed is there to sing bass. To Uncle Ed's family, we send prayers your way. I'd give anything to be there for his funeral, but distance doesn't allow it. Just know how much he meant to us all. We love you Ed.
