Elbert A. Lloyd, “Pimp”, age 62, of Columbus, Georgia passed away on January 13, 2022. Family will visit with friends at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM on Monday, January 17. Funeral services will be held at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 18 with a private interment following at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery.
Elbert was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on November 30, 1959 to the late, Albert Alexander Lloyd and Josephine D Lloyd. He graduated from Carrolton Alabama High School in 1978. On December 23, 1995 he married the love of his life, Bettina B. Lloyd. He worked as a welder for Kysor-Warren. A God fearing man, he was a proud member and Deacon of Edgewood Baptist Church. Elbert was a wonderful husband, excellent dresser and loved working outside building things. An avid 49ers fan, he loved to collect sports memorabilia and was a Marvel buff.
Preceded in death by his father, Albert Alexander Lloyd; two uncles Ray Davis, Robert Davis Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Bettina B. Lloyd; mother, Josephine D. Lloyd; brother, Christopher Lloyd; aunts, Mattie Davis, Barbara Davis, Shirley Davis (Chase), Janice Davis, Helen Gilmer, Caron Means, Dot Whitmore and Sara Jackson; uncles, Ronnie Davis and Raymond Davis; numerous cousins and friends.
