Elliott Walter Mallett was born on September 17, 2025, and passed away on June 7, 2026. Though his time was brief, Elliott’s presence was unmistakable—marked by a bright happiness and a gentle spirit that drew others close and filled his family’s days with meaning.
Elliott was always smiling, and his joy seemed to shine from him with ease. He was smart and learned everything so quickly, with a curiosity about everything around him and a desire to be involved no matter what was happening. He loved playing peek a boo and delighted in being tickled by Mom, Dad, Sister, Brother, or anyone willing to share in his laughter. He “talked” often, making any kind of noise he could, and he hardly ever cried—remaining, almost always, content and cheerful, with a smile that lit up the room.
He loved mirrors most of all, and he loved watching TV with his family, captivated by the colors and movement. His favorites were Teen Titans Go and The Amazing World of Gumball. He especially loved his mom singing to him—“Once upon a december,” “Once upon a dream,” and “You’ll be in my heart”—and he loved listening to his dad play guitar, responding with clear affection for music. He delighted in small, familiar comforts: pulling his Dad’s beard and his Mom’s hair, enjoying food without fuss as the family’s “chunky man,” and showing a special love for the family pets and for animals. Above all, his most favorite thing was cuddling with his dad.
Elliott’s faith was part of his family’s life, and he was connected to the Christian community at University Avenue Assembly of God.
He is survived by Mom, Tiffanie Mallett (Williamson); Dad, Sean Mallett; Older Sister, Marceline Mallett; Older Brother, William Mallett III; Grandmother, Martha Williamson; Grandfather, Paul Williamson; Grandmother, Debra Mallett; Great Grandfather, Walter Foster; Great Uncle & Aunt, Kevin and Connie Foster; and several aunts and uncles and just as many if not more cousins.
He is preceded in death by Grandfather, William Mallett II; Great Grandmother Betty Culpepper; Great grandfather and Great grandmother Earl and Oriel Olline Williamson; and Great Grandmother Lillian Foster.
Elliott will be remembered with deep love—for his radiant smile, his quick curiosity, his delight in music and family, and the warmth he brought simply by being near.
