
Ellis Eugene Contois, 70, of Cusseta, GA, passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at his residence. A Memorial Service is scheduled at Calvary Tabernacle Church in Smiths Station, AL. on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 1:00pm. There will be a ride in leaving the Piggly Wiggly on Hwy 280 in Phenix City, Al, kick stands up at noon.
Mr. Contois, son of the late Al and Dot Contois, was born July 26, 1946 in Augusta, Georgia. He graduated from Jordan High School, class of 67’. Mr. Contois served our country honorably as a BT3 (Boiler Tech) in the U.S. Navy, serving on PBR (Riverine Patrol Boats) Task Force 116.
After his service, he retired as a Machine Operator from Cessna. He was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather who loved his family and riding bikes.
Mr. Contois was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Raoul St. Patrick Contois; sister, Joy Contois; and several aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years of marriage, Judi Contois; children, Rusty Contois (Tabitha), Christi Mizell, Erin Parise (Philip), Patrick Contois; grandchildren, Aryanna Parise, James Parise, Jake Mizell, Gage Mizell, Cameron Hopkins, Ciera Hopkins, Caleb Hopkins; brother, Albert Antonio Contois Jr.; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the local BACA Chapter (Bikers Against Child Abuse).
