

He was born on March 25, 1932 in Orlando, Florida. His parents were Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Gentiliquore.
He was a committed Christian and devoted husband, father, granddad, and great-granddad. He faithfully served his country for three years during the Korean Conflict in the U.S. Army. Sam worked for Harris Sanitation, Inc. a division of Waste Management, Inc. for 20 years, where he made his branch a premier branch throughout the southern division.
He leaves his legacy to his loving wife of 60 years, Hilda Harris, his son, Michael Harris and his wife Deborah, four grandchildren, Franklin Harris and his wife Meredith, Elizabeth Harris, Austin Harris, and Chambers Harris, and one great-grandson, Gilbert Harris, he hung the moon for his great-granddad, to cherish his loving memory.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew and especially loved him.
A funeral service to celebrate his life will be held on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby. His family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 AM until time of the service. Burial will be in Parkhill Cemetery after the service.
