Eunice Mitchell Barnes

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at 11:00 am, in Parkhill Cemetery, with Reverend Mike McBride officiating, according to Striffler-Hamby 4071 Macon Road Columbus, GA.

Visitation will be 10:00 am, Tuesday, June 7, 2016, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Barnes was born October 5, 1928 in Bellwood, Florida to the late Willie William Mitchell and Ethel Susan Conrad Mitchell. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Joyce Ann Reynolds and a son, Bobby Glenn Barnes. Mrs. Barnes attended Trinity Temple Assembly of God, she retired from Fieldcrest Mills. Mrs. Barnes was an excellent cake baker and enjoyed baking cakes for her family and friends; she loved the Lord and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother that will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her husband of 70 years, James W. Barnes, one daughter: Brenda Barnes, a son: Ronnie Earl (Susan) Barnes, five grandchildren: Mike (Beth) Reynolds, Rick Reynolds, Manley (Carolina) Barnes, Brandon (Christy) Barnes, and Lisa (Kyle) Barnes Sullivan, and nine great-grandchildren.
