Evelyn V. Amerson Fyler

Funeral services for Mrs. Fyler will be Friday, September 20, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby, 4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA with Pastor David Johnson officiating. Interment will be in Parkhill Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Thursday, September 19, 2013 in the Wynnton Room.

Evelyn Virginia Fyler was born June 21, 1946 in Muscogee County to the late Ruby Waldrop Amerson and Lonnie Amerson. She had a nursing home ministry and was a Sunday school teacher at New Testament Baptist Church in Phenix City, AL

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, George Fyler; daughters, Brenda Manning and her husband Pastor Mark Manning of Roanoke, VA, Rebekah McClain and her husband Youth Pastor Michael McClain of Fayetteville, GA; grandchildren, Grace Manning, Joy Kleman and her husband Missionary Jared Kleman, Melody Manning, Emma McClain and Elijah McClain; sister, Katherine Niles; brother, Harvey Amerson.
