Frances Jean Grierson, 95, of Columbus, Georgia, passed away on August 2, 2026. Born on December 2, 1930, Frances’ life was marked by steadfast devotion to those she loved and a quiet dignity that remained constant through the years.
She is preceded in death by her Husband , William John Grierson, her parents, Fred Wilhelm and Willie D. Reeves Wilhelm, her son, William John Grierson, Jr. and her granddaughter, Rebekah Elaine Grierson.
She is survived by her children, Frances Grierson Cheatham and Deborah Ann Grierson Clements, Grandchildren, Jason Lawrence Clements, Michael Gene Clements, Dawson Wayne Mellina, Wesley Evan Mellina, Layla Kendall Cheatham, Justin Ryan Grierson, along with 11 Great- Grandchildren.
A Committal Service will be held at Parkhill Cemetery, 4161 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907, US, on August 10, 2026, at 11:00 am.
