

Frances Lenora Jinright, 65, passed away at her residence on May 18, 2013. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2013, at 3:00 PM at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Rd., Columbus, GA. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 PM.
Mrs. Jinright was born on March 10, 1948, in Douglas, GA to the late John Henry Gaskins, Jr. and Frances Reece Gaskins. She was retired from the Muscogee County School District as a teacher after 36 years. After retirement, she had been a substitute teacher for 6 years. Mrs. Jinright was always taking care of anyone who needed help, especially her students for who she cared for like her own. She loved to bake and was always laughing and smiling. Mrs. Jinright was a selfless animal lover and would always help an animal in need.She was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church, Phenix City.
Survivors include her husband, Noah F. Jinright of Phenix City, AL; five children, Diana Hendricks and her husband, Donnie of Ft. Mitchell, AL, Jonathan F. Jinright of Wetumpka, AL, Marie Brown and her husband, Michael of Crawford, AL, Lisa Warren of Columbus, GA and Mike Jinright of Ft. Mitchell, AL; three grandchildren, Ashley Blizzard of Columbus, GA, Lizzy Hendricks and Emily Hendricks, both of Ft. Mitchell, AL; a sister, Diane Dimsdale and her husband, Michael of Warner Robins, GA; a brother, John Gaskins and his wife, Gail of Ambrose, GA; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other family.
