Gary W. "BoBo" Wilson July 10, 1951- July 7, 2016 COLUMBUS, GA- Gary W. "BoBo" Wilson, 64, of Columbus, GA, died Thursday, July 7, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family. A graveside service to celebrate Mr. Wilson's life will be 1:00 PM Monday, July 11, 2016 in Parkhill Cemetery with Reverend Pat O'Malley officiating, according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon road, Columbus, GA 31907. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the funeral home. Mr. Wilson was born July 10, 1951 in Dothan, AL, son of the late Wade and Elizabeth Orlean Merritt Wilson. He worked for the Muscogee County School District as a dispatcher, and retired after many years of dedicated service. Mr. Wilson was a very dedicated family man. His grandchildren, who called him "BoBo", were the very joy of his life. In addition to his parents, Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Sue Wilson. Survivors include his loving wife of 33 years, Rosemary Wilson; his daughters, Kathy Lindner (Eric), Carol Griffin (Scott), Amy Boutwell (Ronnie); his sons, William Storey (Jennie), Thomas Wilson; his grandchildren, Leslie, Heather, Zayne, Cassie, Dee Dee, Dalton, Trinity, Michael, Jason, Hannah, Zachary; his brothers, Jimmy Wilson, Linon Wilson (Sue).
