Graveside funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 15, 2012 in Parkhill Cemetery with Reverend Sean Heggood officiating according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Columbus, GA.
The family will receive friends Monday afternoon from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Jernigan was born in Donaldsonville, GA. on June 11, 1937 to the late Talmadge Jernigan and Marie Croom Seibert. She was a long time resident of Columbus and a member of Hilton Terrace Baptist Church. Mrs. Jernigan was retired from Waltrip Music Center where she worked as General Manager.
Survivors include her best friends, Susan Perrault and Dorothy Miller of Columbus, and an Aunt, Erris Croom of Columbus and numerous cousins.
