

He lived a very full life and was loved by many. He served his country faithfully during WWII in the US Navy. He was a member of Eastern Heights Baptist Church in Columbus. Mr. Tice is survived by his sister, Helen-Ann Clack and her husband JC; son, David Tice and his wife Donna of Columbus, Georgia; Daughter, Wanda Tice of Columbus, Georgia; niece, Sherry Semindinger and her husband Bill; stepson, Frank Hawkins and his wife Sharon of Cataula, Georgia; three grandchildren; many step grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
A graveside funeral service to celebrate his life will be held on Monday, March 28, 2016 at 11:00 AM with Dr. LeBron Matthews officiating, in Evergreeen Memorial Gardens, 4500 Saint Marys Road, Columbus, Georgia. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, www.acscan.org or to the American Heart Association, 1639 Bradley Park Dr., Suite 500, #379, Columbus, Georgia 31904 in Memory of Mr. Gene Tice.
