Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 9, 2020 in Parkhill Cemetery with Reverend Charles Hays officiating according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Columbus, GA. A viewing will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 12:45 pm at the funeral home on Thursday.
Mrs. Owens was born in Josey, AL. on March 9, 1943 to the late Colon Singleton and Pauline Langston Singleton. She was an area resident for many years and was retired from Fieldcrest Mills. Mrs. Owens was a member of Edgewood Assembly of God. Her husband Wesley B. Owens, a brother, Roy Singleton and a sister, Sara Elizabeth Taylor preceded her in death
Survivors include her siblings, Edward Singleton, Carlton Singleton, Lonnie Singleton and Edna Krauthhammer, sister-in-law, Nell Whitehead and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Edgewood Assembly of God, P.O. Box 6446 Columbus, GA 31917.
