Miss Georgia Letha Lipp, age 71, of Columbus, Georgia passed away on Monday April 22, 2019. Letha was born November 21, 1947 in Manchester, Georgia to her late parents, Zuma Letha Smith and George William Lipp.
Letha worked in the office for Sears in Auburn, AL for over 30 years. She was dedicated and had a great work ethic. She was later employed as office assistant for Dr. Stephen Leichter. Aunt Letha loved her family and loved to spoil her nieces and nephews, she treated them as if they were her own. She could sometimes be found watching their favorite cartoons and laughing with them. Letha will always be remembered for her kindness and her servant's heart. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Letha is survived by; sister, Johnnie Shipley, brother-in-law, Richard Shipley, brother, Danny Lipp and sister-in-law Donna Lipp; nieces, nephews, great niece and great nephews, other family members, and many friends.
A visitation for Letha will be held Friday, April 26, 2019 at 10:00 AM in the St. Elmo Room of Striffler-Hamby, 4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM at Striffler-Hamby. Pastor Janice Holt will officiate.
