Geraldine Boner

Geraldine Boner, age 92, of Columbus, Georgia passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2023. A visitation for the family and friends of Geraldine will be held Thursday, March 16, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM in the Edgewood Hall at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, Georgia, followed by a celebration of Geraldine's life at 2:00 PM. Inurnment will be private. Geraldine was born on December 31, 1930 in Montezuma, GA; the daughter of James B. Casteel and Mary Andrews Casteel. She worked for the Muscogee County Department of Family and Children’s Services before retiring. She was Baptist by faith and attended Rose Hill Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by: her only son, Dick Moncrief; her sister, Betty Barefield; and her husband, Clyde Boner. Survivors include: her niece, Vicki Pample; her step-children, Mark Boner, Steve Boner, Scott Boner, Vikki Harper, Beth Summers; and several step-grandchildren and great great nieces and nephews.
