A graveside service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Rose will be held at 2:00PM Friday, June 19, 2026, in Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00PM until 2:00 PM at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Columbus, GA.
Mrs. Rose was born on September 15, 1949, daughter of the late Milburn and Ada Parrish. She worked for many years as a billing secretary for Radiology Associates of Columbus. Mrs. Rose loved her family, especially her grandkids. She loved to rock them in the rocking chair and sing “You are my sunshine”, even as they got older. Mrs. Rose loved to laugh and was known for getting herself tickled to the point she would laugh at herself. She loved working outside planting flowers and working in her garden and loved cheering on the Braves. We will miss her loving playful character, but her memory will live forever in our hearts.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Rose was preceded in death by one sister, Pearline Laquitara and one brother-in-law, Vincent Laquitara.
Survivors include her daughter, Kimberly Ann Rose-Dennis (Steven Moore) of Fortson, GA, her grandchildren, Madison Dennis (Caleb Clary) of Shiloh, GA, Bradley Dennis of Columbus, GA, and Lola Moore of Fortson, GA, her sisters, Martha Bates and her husband, Bob, and Geri Knause and her husband, Charles, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
