Harold Warrick, age 48, resident of Columbus, died on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at Emory University Hospital, Atlanta, Georgia. Funeral services are scheduled at the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus on Tuesday, November 20, 2012, 3 p.m. with Reverend Barry Danner officiating. Pallbearers will be Adam Greene, Jeffrey Mitchell, Eric Hood, Jason Hood, Steve Hood, Ben Morgan, Randy Freeman, Gary Hood, William Fuller, and Michael Jones. Interment will follow at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, November 19, 2012 from 5-7 p.m.
Mr. Warrick, son of the late Carroll Gene Warrick and Joline Fowler Warrick, was born November 18, 1963 in Columbus. He was a member of First Assembly of God Church, Phenix City, Alabama and was an entrepreneur, owning Personal Protection Plus. Besides his family, Mr. Warrick’s dedicated and heartfelt devotion was to music. He was actively involved in the gospel music industry and had been a member of The Greene Family, Damascus Road Quartet and Allegiance Quartet. Mr. Warrick was preceded in death by a daughter, Whitney Warrick and also a sister, Sharon McElhaney.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Paige Warrick of Columbus; one son, Andrew Warrick of Columbus; one grandson, Dylan Jankiewicz of Columbus; one sister, Shirley Hood and her husband Gary of Columbus; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
