Henry E Weaver

A funeral service to celebrate his life will be held on Monday, August 29, 2016 at 11:00 AM, his family will visit with friends beginning at 9:00 AM in Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby, 4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, Georgia. Burial after the service in Parkhill Cemetery.

Henry was born on December 12, 1928 in Opp, Alabama to the late Mamie Cumbie Weaver and Otis Bunion Weaver, one of eight children, he was preceded in death by siblings: Clara Mae, Monroe, Charlie, Mary, and Betty. Henry faithfully served his country in the U.S. Army for a short period of time. After his service he held several jobs, retiring as a salesman with Reid Furniture Company. Henry enjoyed spending time outdoors and raising cattle on his farm. He will be greatly missed.

Henry Ellis Weaver is survived by his sons, Larry Ellis Weaver (Jeri), Gary George Weaver (Elaine), and Barry Andrew Weaver (Rachel); sisters, Pearl Trimback (Lawrence), Mollie Roberts, and Ruth Weaver; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild and numerous extended family members.
