In Sun Fix was born in Korea on February 27, 1944. The Korean War caused the permanent separation from her parents at the age of seven. She was reunited with her aunt at the end of the war and eventually her brother as well. She met and married her husband, Babe in 1967 then moved to the U.S. in 1968 becoming a citizen in 1972. She lived in Columbus for 46 years, only leaving a few times due to Babe’s Army service.
In Sun worked hard all of her life to ensure that her children and grandchildren were taken care of and happy. She gave them the loving parent and grandparent that she never had. She was a selfless woman who went out of her way to help others. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her friends and most of all, cooking for her family. She will be remembered by her family as a person who gave more to others in this life than she received.
She leaves her loving husband of 49 years, Babe F. Fix, her daughter Annie Fix Bernstein, her husband Josh; her two grandsons, Joshua and Ethan and numerous friends to cherish her memory.
