Inez Pearl Howard

Arrangements under the direction of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Inez Pearl Howard, 90, of Columbus, GA passed away peacefully Saturday October 15, 2016 at River Town Nursing Home. A Graveside Service is scheduled for Tuesday October 18, 2016 at 11:30 am in Parkhill Cemetery, 4161 Macon Road, Columbus, GA officiated by Reverend Charles Hayes.

Mrs. Howard was born March 15, 1926 in Athens, GA to her late parents Charley Sargent and Nettie Sue Bullock Sargent. She was a Weaver at West Point Pepperell in Columbus, before retiring. Mrs. Howard was a member of Edgewood Assembly of God Church and an avid Braves fan. She loved to cook for her family when they gathered on special occasions. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Along with her parents, Mrs. Howard is preceded in death by her husband Eugene Howard; daughter Sue Aguirre, and son, Larry Howard. Those left to cherish her memory are; daughters Dara (Robert) Floyd, Wanda (Wayne) Stephens, Cindy (Billy) Milton, and Kim (Jimmy) Morway; son Terry Howard; twelve grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends.
